Building Energy Performance Assessment (commonly known as BEPA) is the process of collecting, compiling, analyzing and disclosing building energy use data utilizing the ASTM Building Energy Performance Assessment & Disclosure Standard to better understand and evaluate the energy consumption and costs of a commercial building.
BEPA is utilized to better understand a buildings energy use and to help answer some very important questions such as, What is the buildings energy consumption and cost? By utilizing BEPA, a building owner, potential buyer, acquisitions/asset manager, funding agency or seller can better understand a buildings energy performance.
